Hi!

Welcome to my poetry blog!

I am a twenty-four brown-eyed Aruban wanderer;
forever questioning where I'm going
and where I've been.
And when I'm not reading,
I'm writing. When I'm not writing, I'm reading.

Furthermore, writing has always been my
way of captivating a deep thought, grief,
lost love, depression and even hatred (sometimes).

Feel free to read and comment on my weird,
puzzling, obsessive, reckless and sometimes
confusing poems. It's all about what you
interpret from them that gets me buzzin'!

Thank you and have fun reading y'all.

Dark Blue Clouds

Dark Blue Clouds
Every face with a trace,
Hints of grace and disgrace.
For every hint of sun in their brows,
A melancholy sigh with a hi…

Every seasons close with reasons,
Hints of shrubberies and flowing bees.
For every dark-filled cloud,
A contemptuous outsider to be a finder.

Every track that is black,
Hints of blood within a sudsed flood.
For every thunderous promise,
A definite liberation from their nation.

The Blue Planet

The Blue Planet
In a world of blue hue,
trespassers were found guilty.
Nature bloomed and boomed.
Outsiders: money-crazed.

Eywa their provider,
Forever enthralled with life’s energy.

Now they seem pure,
My soul is bound by all its lure.

Skins

Skins
You bear your skin,
with a laugh and a shrug.

Others hide behind oodles of fabric,
disgusted by their flaws.

You have not eaten for days,
disgusted by even a pound.

Others gobble down their passion,
with remembrance of only love.

I hold thee bear.
I manifest thou fears.

Declared

Declared
With this egg,
I declare a life of burden.

With this egg,
I declare to lose myself wholly.

With this egg,
I seek your true meaning.

With this egg,
you left me broken.

Beast

Beast
Blood spilled on the head,
and drew daggers in the eyes.
Swords were blessed from tip to handle.
Spears were thrown carelessly through the heart.
A wrecked beast beheld its doom,
once more too vile to seize.
Shackled down,
too crippled to run,
defeated by fear.

Aruba

Aruba
Allowed me to grow,
Rested in the unknown,
Unable to forget its beauty,
Blossoms every time it glows,
Aruba, the one ‘happy’ island.
