Hi!

Welcome to my poetry blog!

I am a twenty-four brown-eyed Aruban wanderer;
forever questioning where I'm going
and where I've been.
And when I'm not reading,
I'm writing. When I'm not writing, I'm reading.

Furthermore, writing has always been my
way of captivating a deep thought, grief,
lost love, depression and even hatred (sometimes).

Feel free to read and comment on my weird,
puzzling, obsessive, reckless and sometimes
confusing poems. It's all about what you
interpret from them that gets me buzzin'!

Thank you and have fun reading y'all.

Power, religion

Power, religion
We’ve been through this before.
I might not have been around, but I cry.

I cry about those lost souls,
Raped by their race,
Mistreated by their religion,
Murdered by their dictators,
I cry for all those who robbed them of their self-respect, their hope.
They sucked them dry leaving them without a whole soul.

Why are we dealing with these same issues again?
Have we learned nothing?

Power.
Religion.

While we spit in the face of humanity with our own hate.

Travel Dear Sir

Travel dear sir
You travel dear sir to your heart’s desire,
You forge your feelings in order to confess your lies.

A swallow, a passing wave,
Sadly, they both can’t help you feel.

Your badge worn on your heart’s sleeve;
Iron-made and steadily steeped.
Steeped in the finest brand of lies a dear sir can manifest in.
For a daughter he may never truly understand or care for.
For remorse he may never feel for his own wrong doing.

So travel dear sir,
Travel to your heart’s desire.
